I'm really liking this summer weather. I don't look summer ready at all and my body does seem to be a little bit confused because of this heat wave but it's all worth it. Last week I went to work in a kashmir sweater and now it's to hot to wear long trousers. The best thing is that we get popsicles all the time at school. I love those old school ones with 2 sticks you can share (or eat all by yourself, even better), in Dutch they're called 'Dubbellikkers'. I love my classmates for going to the supermarket all the time to get ice creams, it makes our classes so much more enjoyable. I have to get ready for a party now, I only know 3 other people that are going so I hope it's not going to be awkward. What are your plans for this long weekend?

Today, instead of bothering you with my dull phone pictures of my boring school, life and town, I want to show you how mobile pictures are art too. DISPARATE YOUTH

New things I bought in Arnhem friday: Glamcult paper (it was free actually), I love FAKE magazine and an adidas legging that has the adidas logo on the knees (I'll try to post a picture of the leggings in an outfit later this week because I'm sure it's hard for you to see how they look from this picture). You can also see the new table I got at Ikea last week, it's super handy since you can adjust the size very easy and I can use it sitting on my bed to draw or do my homework.
It was 24 degrees outside today!! Seems like the sun has finally arrived in the Netherlands.

I went to Arnhem today, I bought some nice things which I'll show you on sunday. Spending my friday night cutting out pictures from old magazines and making a book report. I'm such a wild child, I know...

JFE

I told you before about Jameson Film Experience, a project started by Whiskey brand Jameson in collaboration with new cinema talents. This time they chose het Amsterdamse Bos as location. Who wouldn't like to watch a movie in a weird location like that, meet new people and have a great party afterwards? This time the movie that will be shown is: Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom. You might have already heard about it since it was chosen to open the film festival in Cannes.

Here it is, my new hair. It's a lot shorter. I'm not sure which length I like better though, this one is easier for sure. The second picture is Rosie Huntington-Whitley for Vogue China 2006. Isn't it beautiful? I have been told I look I like her a few times. Haha, I wish!!

DATE WITH IKEA

I just came back from IKEA with my parents. It's probably one of my top five favourite shops. You always find something nice there. I'll show you tomorrow what I got there if I manage to put it together though. I also promised to show you a picture of my new hair but it was raining these past days so my hair looks horrible, that's why I haven't showed you yet. Here are some crappy mobile phone pictures I made strolling around in the store tonight. Did you know that there are severals songs written about IKEA? 

BRMC- MAMA TAUGHT ME BETTER

Kinder chocolate/ ikea orchids getting watered in the kitchen/fun day with my friend last week, cool bags, cool pants.

My hair is still long in that last picture and now it's short. My colleague cut it yesterday and it looks better but it's not that long anymore. I hope it grows back soon. I might post a picture of my new hair soon if you'd like to see it. Mothers day tomorrow, I'm taking my mom for a high tea. I'm excited about all the food already.

I wish I could pull jeans like those off. They're a little bit trashy but I do really like them with a very simple white top or blouse. They really got a 90's vibe especially with those sandals. I still want a pair of sandals for summer but I can't find a nice pair. FIRST: nice weather. I'm sick of the rain.

QUITTERS RAGA

I love my new sweater that I bought in Antwerp friday. I also bought some basics at Zara because I needed them. Ok I don't really need them I just want them. My tortoise is such a cutie. My sweet little baby Larry. Don't tell me she isn't adorable!
